New York City Bombing Proves:
When Bosses Fight Bosses
Workers Die!
The airplane hijackings and the bombings of the World Trade Center in New York that have killed thousands of working class people are the direct result of the wars that capitalists wage against each other.
And now, thousands more U.S. workers have joined the growing numbers of people killed by these monsters. These bombings are not part of the international working class struggle against capitalism. They hurt the working class struggle by focusing our attention on small groups of terrorists and losing sight of the big picture. It is not yet known who carried out these bombings. What is known is that the bombers chose to attack workers rather than make revolution against capitalism. These nationalist "little terrorists" dont want to eliminate the horrors of the capitalist system. They just want to grab a piece of the pie from the "big terrorists." And who are the "big terrorists?" The multi-national corporations such as Exxon-Mobil, Chase Manhattan Bank, the IMF/World Bank, and the governments who support them, especially the U.S. government. These big terrorists have exploited, oppressed, and killed so many millions that there is tremendous hatred of U.S. capitalism all over the world. The "little terrorists" pretend to be champions of those victims, but they are just in it for themselves. Many of these "little terrorists", like Bin-Laden used to work for the American CIA! Because communism, the alternative to capitalism, is not strong yet, workers feel trapped between the different groups of capitalists. We must not support any of them!
The U.S. bosses can cry fake "crocodile tears" for the people killed in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania, but these bosses have killed many more workers than that themselves. A half million have died because of the US-led economic embargo against Iraq. Millions die in capitalist "ethnic wars" or from hunger and disease each year because of international capitalismimperialism. In the US countless thousands of lives are ruined by unemployment, drugs, racist police terror, and one hundred thousand workers die every year in the U.S. from accidents or illnesses caused by their jobs!
The danger is that in our righteous anger against the New York terrorists, we will lose sight of how much death is caused by the big terroriststhe capitalist system. Or worse, some might actively or passively side with the U.S. bosses as they whip up hysteria against Arabs and increase police state fascist policies against the working class here in the U.S. The Progressive Labor Party, a revolutionary communist party, organizes workers to oppose all forms of racism, nationalism, and capitalism and build a movement to destroy all forms of capitalism once and for all. Only then can we be free from the terror of the "little terrorists" and the "big terrorists"the racist police terror, hunger, disease, unemployment, war, and the terrorist bombings --all parts of the capitalist system.
